BLACK-TIE, ALL BLACK

This is a black-tie affair and we're asking all guests to dress in all black.

Ladies are asked to wear formal, floor-length solid black (no colour patterns) evening gowns, while gentlemen should wear black suit jackets and trousers. White dress shirts for men are acceptable. And if you have a tuxedo hanging in your closet or a bow tie, this is absolutely its moment to shine!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a hotel room block reserved for guests?

Yes! We've reserved a limited number of rooms at the Crowne Plaza Toronto-North York for guests who would like to stay nearby. The reserve room block is listed under Cornford & McGinnis wedding. Located just a 7-minute drive from the venue, it's a convenient option for enjoying the celebrations and getting home safely at the end of the evening. To book a room with our group discounted rate, please book before August 17.

Will transportation be provided between the hotel and the venue?

We have not arranged dedicated transportation between the hotel and the venue. We encourage guests to plan ahead and arrange private transportation or use a rideshare service such as Uber, especially if you plan to stay late or enjoy alcoholic beverages during the celebration. Your safety is important to us, and we want everyone to get home comfortably.

Will there be parking available?

Yes, complimentary parking will be available in the Graydon lot. Please indicate the number of parking spaces you require when submitting your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Parking is monitored by venue security in accordance with their policies. Any suspicious or unauthorized activity will be reported by security to ensure the safety and security of all guests and the venue.

Can I bring my child(ren)?

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. The only exception will be our nieces and nephew, who will be participating in the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

We were very intentional with our guest list and are keeping our celebration small and intimate, so we’re only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We’re having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask guests to put away their phones and cameras during this special moment. Being fully present and respecting the significance of our vows and aisle walk is incredibly important to us and we’d love for everyone to experience this moment together.

What if I have severe food allergies?

We cannot guarantee that food will be free from cross-contamination, but we have carefully selected a menu with guest sensitivities in mind. If you have severe allergies, please include them with your RSVP so we can share them with our kitchen team in advance. For safety, we also recommend bringing any necessary emergency medication, such as an EpiPen.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Thank you for generosity during this time! We don’t have a separate registry apart from the registry from the bridal shower in July.
